Rewards
Students who go above and beyond should never go unnoticed. I believe that students should be rewarded for good deeds- big or small. I will have a weekly drawing for students; student will be given a lottery ticket to place into our drawing box for outstanding behaviors, work, or good deeds. Prizes will consist of:
>10 Minutes of computer time
>10 minutes of free time with a friend
>Treasure Chest Item

Consequences
First disruptive behavior: the student will receive a verbal warning.
Second disruptive behavior: the student will be moved to another area of the classroom and possibly be given an assignment that will allow him/her to reflect on how to be more successful in the classroom.
Third disruptive behavior: Ms. Pineda will call the student’s parents for a phone conference.
Fourth disruptive behavior: Ms. Pineda will call the student’s parents for a school conference.
Fifth disruptive behavior: Ms. Pineda will refer the student to Brook Elementary School administrators.
*Ms. Pineda reserves the right to skip levels of warning according to the severity and frequency of the disruptive behavior. No student’s education will be compromised by the misconduct of other students.
